Your Role

Coolfreeze is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and knowledgeable Mechanical Fitter to join their new team; someone who is passionate about engaging with their values and delivering quality service levels for customers. Full training will be provided to support your learning.

Day to day, you will:

• Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding using various tools and equipment; Threading and ending pipes by hand or with a pipe-bending machine
• Repair systems using various welding and plumbing techniques
• Attach pipes to structures and bend them into position
• Sealing routes of pipework and ensuring water ingress is eliminated
• Perform a test on your work or the work of others to ensure there are no leaks or weak joints
• Welding, soldering, brazing, and fusing of pipework
• Read and interpret specifications to determine layout requirements; Plan and install piping systems in industrial units/vehicles
