Pharmacy Dispenser - Independent Community Pharmacy
Hourly Rate: £13.07 (for a qualified dispenser)
Schedule: 09:00 - 17:30
We are looking for a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly, supportive team in a well-run independent community pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a calm, organised environment with strong team support and plenty of learning opportunities. Initial 9-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role within our group, which operates three pharmacies in the Lanarkshire area and 13+ locations across Scotland. Open to trainee position for the right candidate.
Your Role Will Include:
- Dispensing repeat and acute prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Preparing and managing compliance aids (dosette boxes/blister packs)
- Liaising closely with the Pharmacist and wider pharmacy team
- Offering advice on healthcare and over-the-counter medicines
- Maintaining pharmacy stock levels and managing orders
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy
- Relevant pharmacy qualifications preferred but not essential
- Professional, friendly, and team-focused attitude
- Strong communication, organisation, and customer service skills
