Job Title: Life Science Customer Operations Agent
Location: Heathrow Area (with flexibility to support other locations when required)

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage domestic and international freight forwarding by air and road for sensitive life science shipments.
- Prepare and present quotes for transport consignments.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear written and verbal communication.
- Ensure bookings, sales, and documentation are completed within agreed timelines.
- Co-ordinate transport arrangements with UK and overseas service partners.
- Prepare and process all relevant freight documentation, including airwaybills, shipping and health certificates, import/export licences, and customs entry documentation.
- Handle customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with security and data integrity requirements.
- Collaborate with other offices and teams on group projects as needed.
- Occasionally use company vehicles for collection or delivery of shipments and paperwork.
- Undertake training to enhance skills and adapt to new industry requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in Air or Road logistics is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage client expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and within strict deadlines.
- A flexible and proactive approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, either 08:00–17:30 or 09:00–18:30 (with 1-hour lunch).
- Out-of-hours, weekends, and bank holidays may be required on occasion.
