About the Role

We have an opportunity within our HR Team for a full time confident and experienced People Adviser to join us for a six month family leave cover contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of our growth strategy through effective people practices and change management.
Our HR department are central to the delivery of our people strategy and we are looking for someone who cares as much about people as we do.
Reporting into the People Operations Manager, you’ll act as a trusted adviser to managers across the organisation. You’ll support them through significant organisational change programmes, ensuring people impacts are understood and managed effectively.
You’ll also bring strong employee relations expertise, providing practical coaching and advice on complex cases, particularly in absence management and performance management, to build confident, capable leaders.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing an effective and legally compliant Employee Relations advice service through case management
- Advising managers to support the successful delivery of change initiatives aligned to our growth strategy.
- Coaching and supporting managers to take ownership of people challenges and apply policy with confidence.
- Monitoring and analysing caseload trends for your business area(s) to drive continuous improvement and enhance organisational performance.
- Work collaboratively with the wider People team and key stakeholders to ensure delivery of a seamless, proactive service.
About You
If you have already gained your CIPD qualification and experience in a generalist HR role, supporting organisational change, and have a strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice in managing employee relations cases then we would love to hear from you. Your experience of working in partnership with managers helping to deliver innovative people solutions whilst remaining focused on business needs will also be invaluable in this role.
You will need to be a confident communicator whether this is over the phone, face to face or in writing. Your relationship building and influencing skills will play a key role in your ongoing success as our focus is on coaching managers to build their people management skills.
