Double Impact is a registered charity and not for profit organisation. We have been generating sustained and visible recovery from addiction since 1998.
The Nottingham Recovery Network comprises of Framework Housing Association, Double Impact and Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The service is publicly funded and has been established to support people who use drugs and alcohol. We provide a single point of advice, support and treatment for anyone in Nottingham City who wishes to change their relationship with alcohol or drugs.
Peer Support Coordinator (Permanent)

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £33,000

Are you passionate about the power of lived experience in recovery? Do you have the skills to build and sustain a thriving peer support programme? We’re looking for a dynamic and compassionate Peer Support Coordinator to join our team and champion recovery-focused, peer-led approaches across our service.
About the Role
As Peer Support Coordinator, you will:
- Lead and oversee all Peer Support activity across the service.
- Promote Recovery First principles and embed peer-led approaches into service delivery.
- Line manage our team of Recovery Connectors and volunteers.
- Develop, coordinate, and sustain a high-quality peer support programme.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and provide wraparound support for peer mentors and volunteers.
- Advocate for the value of lived experience and empower peer mentors to contribute meaningfully to service users’ recovery journeys.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, empowerment, and recovery.
About You
You’ll bring:
- Experience working in recovery-focused services or lived experience of recovery.
- Strong coordination skills.
- A commitment to co-production and peer-led principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The ability to inspire, support, mentor and develop others.
