Purpose of the job:
To assist with the laminating of components and tooling across a range of industry sectors, sizes and complexities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Final preparation of various Tooling block patterns and Aluminium moulds.
- Using a variety of hand tools, small air tools and abrasive paper to a high standard
- Spraying Patterns and final prep to a high standard.
- Assembly of Jigs and Fixtures.
- Preparation of a low melting temperature moulds.
- Checking route card instructions are correct
- To follow company processes.
- Keep all equipment maintained
- Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy
SKILLS:
- Previous experience in a pattern shop or similar environment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail is essential.
- Able to follow work instructions.
- Good awareness of health and safety.
- Good verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Used to working in a fast-moving environment.
- Flexible approach to whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Problem Solving skills.
