Equans is looking for a Patient Services Team Leader to join our team in Queen Alexandra Hospital, PO6 3LY, on a permanent full time basis working 35 hours per week. On offer is a salary of ££26,159.00 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

12.00 -19:30 with half an hour break.

Two week rota working every other weekend with a day off in the week (TBC).

WHAT WILL YOU DELIVER?

The Team Leader will be responsible to the Facilities Management Team for the cleanliness of the hospital and the supervision of Ward Housekeepers and Patient Service Assistants. Be able to discuss and liaise with Trust management and our customers in a proactive manner daily to ensure the contract specification is met in relation to Soft Services. To organise all daily tasks and work as a team with your fellow Team Leaders.

For this role you must undergo a DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

What are we looking for?

  • Good general level of education
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
  • Basic Health and Safety Certificate (Desirable)
  • Supervisory management qualification (Desirable)
  • Ability to work as part of a team (Essential)
  • Experience of performance management of employees including appraisals
  • Experience of working within Hotel & Catering industry and/or Facilities Management sector (Desirable)
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Computer literate, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
