As we expand to large-scale clinical trials, we are looking for a compassionate and organised Patient Relations Coordinator to support participants throughout the trial lifecycle.
Role Overview
We are seeking a part-time Patient Relations Coordinator to guide and support patients as they participate in our clinical trials. From initial consent and device installation to regular questionnaires and data collection, and through to end-of-study communication, you will play a vital role in delivering a smooth, supportive and reassuring experience for trial participants.
This role is based on-site at the Cambridge Science Park and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organised, and communicates with empathy and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support patients through all stages of the clinical trial lifecycle
- Guide patients through the consent process and device installation
- Assist with the scheduling and completion of questionnaires
- Monitor patient-reported data and coordinate follow-ups as required
- Maintain accurate records and support data quality assurance
- Act as the main point of contact for patients, answering queries and providing clear, kind communication
- Coordinate end-of-study communications and ensure a positive closing experience
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A calm, patient and supportive approach to working with individuals
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- An interest in healthcare, technology or clinical research is beneficial but not required
- No prior clinical trial or healthcare experience necessary – full training will be provided
