Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable automotive Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the right parts for their needs while providing exceptional service. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Commercial vehicle experience a benefit but not essential.
- Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their vehicles or equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and orders using Excel and other software tools.
- Communicate effectively with customers both in person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Organise and manage stock levels, ensuring that all parts are readily available for customer requests.
- Provide bilingual or multilingual support to enhance customer experience and accessibility.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and new parts availability.
Experience
- Previous experience in a automotive parts advisory or similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in using Excel for inventory management is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interaction.
