About the Role – Part-Time Driver
As a Part-Time Driver, you’ll be the face of our Bodyshop for many of our customers. Your main responsibilities will include collecting vehicles from customers' homes or workplaces and delivering them back once repairs are complete. You will also move vehicles between sites and support the team with ad hoc driving and admin-related tasks.
Professionalism, punctuality, and care are key in this role—you’ll be representing Drive Motor Retail at every customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and deliver customer vehicles in a safe and timely manner
- Perform pre- and post-collection vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
- Liaise with customers politely and professionally, providing excellent service
- Safely transport vehicles between sites or to external suppliers when required
- Keep accurate records of all vehicle movements
- Assist with general site duties as needed, including maintaining vehicle presentation standards
What We’re Looking For:
- A full UK driving licence – held for at least 2 years
- A clean driving record (minor points considered)
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A smart, professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of vehicle condition checks (training provided)
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
