Job Title: Spray Painter – Plant & Commercial Vehicles
Location: Kendal
We are seeking a talented Spray Painter to join our team at a specialized paint facility in Kendal, focusing on custom finishes for plant machinery and commercial vehicles.
In this position, you will prepare surfaces, apply premium-quality paints, and finish machinery, vehicles, and components for both internal projects and customer orders. You will also be responsible for maintaining the paint area, managing paint and supply inventories, and coordinating the movement of items within the workshop.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working with various paints, including gloss, metallics, and lacquers
- Background in vehicle preparation and refinishing
- Ability to work independently and accurately follow instructions
- Well-organized with strong workspace management skills
- Experience with signwriting, vinyl application, or detailing is a plus but can be learned on the job
Additional Preference:
Candidates with experience spray painting trucks, lorries, or trailers will be highly valued
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate approximately £18-20
- Day shifts only
- 28 days of holiday entitlement
