JOB SPEC - PACKAGING & ONLINE SALES ASSISTANT
Schedule:
- Part-time (10 hours per week)
- Hours can range from between 8am-7pm (some weekends/evening hours)

- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast paced environment.
- A ‘can do’ attitude, want to roll their sleeves up & get involved & be keen to learn as full training will be given, however some previous experience within the food industry would be great.
Main roles and key tasks:
- Cleaning and sanitising food preparation areas in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and utensils including knives, mixers and ovens.
- Assisting with managing inventory, unloading supplies and organising the stock area.
- Measuring and weighting wet and dry ingredients.
- Following basic instructions and recipes.
- Packaging and labelling products for shipping.
- Packaging and labelling products for our wholesale and retail customers.
- Tasting new and exciting baked goods.
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery according to the plan.
- Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines/procedures are being adhered to at all times.
- Ensure all products are packed efficiently and labelled correctly.
Required Skills
- Please note this is a mainly packaging and labelling role with minimal baking.
- No commercial baking experience required
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
- Follow and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Must have good maths skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
