Job Description
Due to growing UK demand for our Digital services, we are seeking to recruit a Consultant to provide technical P3M Digital Controls support to clients and contribute to the continued development of our digital capability.
We are looking for consultants with a strong interest in digital transformation, who can apply their awareness of P3M principles, reporting, and dashboard development—particularly using Microsoft-based tools such as Power BI and Excel. A working understanding of data structures and data modelling will also be valuable in helping to implement and integrate applications and data that support effective project management and controls.
The Role
As a P3M Data & Reporting Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting digital transformation across infrastructure programmes by enabling robust project management and controls through data-driven solutions. You will:
Support the development and delivery of digital controls solutions aligned to P3M frameworks.
Translate stakeholder needs into actionable reporting and dashboard requirements.
Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Excel, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability.
Assist in the integration of data from multiple sources to support project performance tracking and decision-making.
Contribute to the design and maintenance of data structures and models that underpin reporting solutions.
Provide technical guidance to non-expert users and support adoption of digital tools across project teams.
Collaborate with colleagues across digital and delivery teams to continuously improve reporting capabilities and data quality.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
2-5 years’ experience in a data/reporting analyst role, ideally within a project or programme environment.
Awareness of P3M principles and project controls practices.
Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including use of macros) and Power BI for dashboard development.
Experience in identifying reporting requirements and documenting them clearly.
Familiarity with data modelling concepts and data integration across systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
Desirable:
Experience in infrastructure sectors such as Defence, Energy & Natural Resources, or Transport & Utilities.
Exposure to project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Understanding of PMO functions and data governance practices.
Programming experience or interest in languages such as SQL or VBA.
Relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, or Microsoft certifications.
