Overview
This position requires strong leadership and management skills, along with a passion for working with young people. You will be responsible for supervising campers during overnight activities and ensuring their well-being throughout their stay.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with campers during overnight activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Plan and facilitate various camp activities, including games, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures.
- Provide guidance and support to campers, fostering a positive camp community.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth operation of camp activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the camp facilities.
- Assist in managing camper behaviour, promoting respect and cooperation among all participants.
- Ensure the campers are in bed at the set time and encourage bedtime routines.
- Ensure the campers are awake and complete morning routine before day staff return.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Strong leadership and management skills to effectively guide campers through their camp experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact with campers, parents, and staff.
- Experience in early childhood education or nursery settings is highly desirable.
- A passion for outdoor activities and the ability to inspire children in a camp environment.

Pay: From £22.00 per hour
