Here at PayPlan, we are looking for flexible colleagues to join our welcoming and growing team. Are you passionate about making a difference outside of the 9–5? We’re looking for committed Case Officers to support our out of hours service.
The role will be remote and hours will be flexible between, 6pm-11pm Monday- Friday, 3pm-11pm Saturday and 8am-11pm Sunday
Please note - We will require you to be available for training for a total of 3 weeks Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Start date to be confirmed.

What would you be doing as a Case Office here at Payplan?
Case Officers support our clients through every step of their debt journey, over the phone and digitally to ensure that we can be there for our clients whenever they need us. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, offering calm, confident decision-making and support playing a key role in ensuring individuals receive the right debt advice at the right time.
We want to make the journey to becoming debt-free as simple and stress-free as possible.
As a Case Officer at PayPlan you will:
- Make and receive calls, send and receive emails, texts, and post, to and from clients, triaging, providing advice and supporting them through their contact with us.
- Regularly review client cases to make sure plans remain realistic, affordable, and effective, making adjustments based on any changes in the client’s financial situation
- Liaise with internal teams and departments to ensure continuity of care between OOH and non-OOH services.
- Proactively gain trust with clients by building rapport, listening, acknowledging, and guiding them through their journey
- Be client driven, listening to their needs, being supportive and empathetic
- Update clients on their cases, always being mindful of their needs and expectations
- Engage with clients to support in finding a suitable recommendation for them, ensuring it also aligns with the requirements of the business
- Champion continuous improvement and new ways of working at every opportunity
About You:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand the needs of the client
- Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills to be able to deal with challenging and vulnerable clients
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and thorough approach to your work
- A desire to show initiative and the ability to multitask
