We are seeking an enthusiastic, resilient, and hard-working Optical Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a customer-focused environment and is dedicated to improving eye health in the community. Your responsibilities will include engaging with potential customers outside the store, raising awareness about eye care, and booking appointments for free eye tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Canvassing: Engage with potential customers outside the store, introducing them to our services, and encouraging them to book a free eye test.
- Eye Health Awareness: Educate the public about the importance of regular eye examinations and how our services can benefit their overall health and vision.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Assist with booking appointments, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- In-Store Support: Assist the team inside the store when required, including helping patients choose frames, advising on lens options, and ensuring a smooth customer journey.
- Achieve Targets: Meet daily and weekly targets for booking appointments through outdoor canvassing efforts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure the store operates efficiently and customers receive the best care.

Experience and Requirements:

- Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
