Overview
We at Sail Line UK are a rapidly growing freight forwarder with an experienced, friendly and tight-knit team. We are pleased to be hiring for the position of Operations Officer, an office-based position working in our Woodbridge Office. A minimum of one year's experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Managing our customer’s shipments from start to finish, utilising our shipping software system in a paperless environment
- Engaging with customers and providing a very high level of customer service by phone and email
- Maintaining good relationships with carriers and our partner agents
- Cooperating closely with colleagues and giving regular feedback to the Operations Supervisor
Requirements
- An interest in freight forwarding and the wider shipping industry
- Being self-motivated, with a willingness to take responsibility
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer literacy
- Being a team player
- A willingness to learn new skills and grow professionally
