Lo-Fi Games is a small, busy, successful independent games studio based in Bristol, UK, which prides itself on diversity and staff welfare. Our first game Kenshi has sold over two million copies worldwide and we’re now hard at work on the prequel - Kenshi 2.
We’re now looking for a people-focused and highly organised Office Coordinator to be the central person who keeps our whole team connected and supported.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all admin job; it’s a rare chance to truly mould the role into something that works for you and the team. You’ll join a small, creative, and collaborative group where your ideas and opinions will genuinely shape how we run our spaces, support our people, and make every day run smoothly. You’ll be making sure everyone has what they need to work, create, and stay connected whether they’re working in the office or online.
As such, this is a 6-month temporary role while we explore how our team works best in a new structure, giving both you and us the freedom to adapt, grow, and find the right long-term fit together.
This role is based in our Bristol office, with a presence required for 32.5 hours over a 5 day week - this can be discussed to fit around the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
In the Office:
- Be the friendly, approachable first point of contact for visitors, staff, and suppliers
- Keep our HQ running like clockwork, from booking meeting rooms to making sure the essentials are stocked
- Oversee building access, security, and liaise with landlords or contractors
- Handle day-to-day admin: notes, calendars, bookings, and making sure everyone knows where to find what they need
- Manage petty cash and purchasing for the office, kitchen, and staff gifts
Across the Global Team:
- Help our remote colleagues feel connected through socials, celebrations, and shared updates
- Keep our online and physical spaces organised so everyone can find what they need and stay in touch
Keeping Things Safe & Smooth:
- Carry out health & safety checks, organise fire drills, and ensure all certifications are current
- Manage petty cash and track office spend, reporting to the COO
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as an office coordinator or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills: friendly, professional, and adaptable
- Confident with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (formally Suite), and ideally Asana or Slack
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Able to work collaboratively in a small, creative team where your input matters
Bonus
- Experience in a games or creative company
- Knowledge of Xero or bookkeeping basics
- First Aid / Fire Warden certification
- Event-planning skills
Benefits
- Flexible working
- 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata)
- Relaxed environment with a strict company policy of no crunch
- Private WPA healthcare
- Excellent team welfare benefits and support
- Mental health support with Spill (and WPA - 24 hour assistance and support with two ‘no questions’ extra days off a year if you need it)
- Free Merch!
- Regular, inclusive team socials, both in person and online
- Extra benefits for people who stick with us!
