Anthem Tuition is not your average music school. We're a vibrant and energetic community that believes in making music learning a thrilling and unforgettable experience. Founded in 2012 by Rachel and Adam Atkins, two passionate musicians, Anthem Tuition is all about creating opportunities for children to shine as confident musicians and performers.
We are looking for somebody for 15-25 hours per week to help with general admin and to be the 'Schools Coordinator' in our office team to work closely with the primary and high schools for which we provide tuition.
You will only be required to work for 43 weeks of the year, during school terms. You will only be required to work for one week of the 2-week half terms, and will not be required to work for four weeks of the summer holidays.
Schedule:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9-2.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid break
Main tasks:
- Planning the term calendar and liaising with music heads in our key schools
- Scheduling lessons, informing students and teachers
- Use 'My Music Staff' software to manage lessons, changes and payments
- Invoice all parents in advance of term/ chase payments
- Collating all invoices and logging in system
- Welcoming new students as they sign up
- Arranging their addition to the system
- Rescheduling /cancellations/informing teachers
- New school onboarding and new teachers
- Ordering office supplies - office, props, sourcing equipment
- Listing new jobs online
- Helping to onboard new teachers: scheduling interviews, DBS checks, ID checks, references, admin, set up on system
- Scheduling, problem solving, organising teachers
- Contacting new schools to develop new contracts
- Assisting with planning and facilitating Anthem events/concerts
- General admin support for Anthem Music School
Required Qualities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- IT competency to use our student management system
- Driving license and car is essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills, ready to solve problems and build great relationships
- Worked in a school or familiar with school environment and communications style
- Excellent forward planning, being proactive and pre-empting problems
