Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organised office administrator to join our team in Halesworth, Suffolk. This is a full time role involving general office duties, admin support and general warehouse duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
General office administration including answering phones, handling emails, filing and maintaining up-to-date records for the business. Maintaining a well-organised working environment is essential when assisting with the processing/raising of invoices, taking over the phone payments, updating databases and producing other documentation for customer breakdowns, new installations etc. Liaising with customers, suppliers, engineers, sales and other contacts as needed. In addition there may be times when you will be required to help pick and load orders ready for our delivery team the following day.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in an office-based administrative role.
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills.
- Technology skills – experience of Microsoft, Sage Accounts & Word/Excel or similar system preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and time management – ability to prioritize work load, problem solving and resourcefulness.
- Prepared to learn and adapt new skills. Lifting is a requirement.
- Exceptional customer service skills - must be courteous, professional and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
