We are currently seeking a reliable, proactive, and customer-focused Night Porter to join our dedicated night team. As a key presence during the night shift, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a seamless and welcoming experience to all our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide night-hour assistance including luggage handling and package deliveries to ensure an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out.
Respond to guest queries efficiently and effectively, ensuring positive outcomes and satisfaction.Assist guests with luggage and respond to any additional requests as needed.
Demonstrate a consistently high level of customer service throughout the shift.
Conduct regular security walks throughout the night to ensure guest and property safety.Set up conference rooms and event spaces as required for the following day.B
e knowledgeable of and prepared to act in line with fire safety procedures and emergency protocols.
Act swiftly and responsibly in any emergency situation, following all security and health & safety procedures.
Attend relevant training sessions and actively support the training and development of the Night Team.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, products, pricing, policies, and the local area to assist guests effectively.
Collaborate and assist other departments when required, ensuring the smooth running of night operations.
About You:
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential. Must be able to work night shifts
Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsCalm, confident, and professional under pressure
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering top-quality guest servicePhysically able to carry out manual handling tasks (e.g., moving luggage and setting up rooms)
Flexible and reliable with a strong sense of responsibilityKnowledge of health & safety and fire procedures is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
