Dear Francis is looking for a Newsletter Strategist to grow, engage, and convert our smart shopper audience through high-performing newsletter campaigns. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on production and execution of weekly newsletters across multiple brands with a focus on driving sales and subscriber growth. This is a data-driven, content-savvy role for someone who understands the intersection of storytelling, audience behavior, and performance marketing.
This is a part-time role, with a maximum of 20 hours per week, and is ideal for a freelancer.
Responsibilities

Build and manage a high-performing newsletter strategy focused on deals and shopper insights.

Plan, execute and schedule email campaigns aligned with audience interests and business goals using tools like Optimizely, selecting and sourcing engaging imagery and content

Analyze performance metrics like open rate, CTR, and conversion to identify optimization opportunities.

Use tools like Google Analytics and Looker Studio to track and report on campaign success.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in email marketing, with a focus on external newsletters, audience strategy, or digital content growth.

Strong understanding of email KPIs including open rate, CTR, and conversion rate.

Proficient in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and other performance dashboards.

Demonstrated success in growing and engaging newsletter audiences.
