Do you take pride in your craft and enjoy finding practical solutions to everyday challenges?
At Target Housing, we’ve been supporting individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness for over 30 years. We provide safe, secure homes alongside dedicated support services, helping people to build brighter, more independent futures.

- Working flexibly across joinery tasks, with some knowledge of other trades (such as plumbing) to deliver a reliable and responsive repairs service.
- Ensuring all works meet health & safety requirements, while keeping residents at the heart of what you do.
- Keeping accurate records of works carried out via our housing management systems.
- Taking responsibility for your van stock, equipment, and tools.
- Liaising with colleagues across the organisation to ensure jobs are completed within agreed timescales.
What we’re looking for
- Experience and qualifications in Joinery.
- A good understanding of other trades (e.g. plumbing, basic repairs).
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and instructions.
- Confidence using digital devices (PDA/iPad) to log work.
- A customer-focused approach, with good communication skills.
- Full, valid driving licence.

By joining us, you’ll be part of a team that not only maintains homes, but also helps create opportunities, stability, and hope.
