Job Summary:
Ruggable is looking for a Media Director to lead the media strategy and planning efforts across our European business. We have exciting growth ambitions, across the UK and Europe, and you’ll be a pivotal part in driving our growth and marketing efficiency and effectiveness through expert media planning, robust attribution analysis and campaign optimisation.
In this role, you’ll oversee the planning and execution of online and offline media campaigns via our agency partners, bringing deep expertise in growth marketing and performance measurement. Working closely with the Europe Marketing Director, you'll be instrumental in translating commercial goals into actionable media strategies that deliver measurable results.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development and execution of media strategies across digital and offline channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Own and lead the day-to-day relationship with our media agency and other external partners, ensuring strategic alignment, executional excellence, and performance delivery across all media and performance marketing channels, including PPC, paid social, programmatic, affiliates, SEO, and more.
- Lead attribution analysis and MMM/econometrics studies with Analytics team to measure effectiveness, optimize campaigns for maximum ROI, and design test-and-learn programs
- Support annual/quarterly forecasting process, working closely with Europe leadership to develop media plans aligned with commercial goals
- Translate revenue targets into actionable briefs for agencies and in-house teams, and monitor performance against forecasts to refine strategies and tactics
- Partner with internal teams and external experts to shape and optimise our SEO strategy
- Oversee and scale our affiliate marketing program
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- 6+ years of planning and implementation experience working in a media agency or in-house media planning and buying role for a B2C business.
- Expertise in digital performance channels like PPC, paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), affiliates and programmatic display
- Expertise in analyzing creative performance and developing impactful, insight-driven creative strategies that enhance media effectiveness and drive campaign results.
- Experience in owning and optimising SEO strategy
- Background in above-the-line media planning (including connected and linear TV, audio and OOH), and connecting this to digital activity in an integrated way.
- Hands-on experience with attribution models including MMM and familiarity with other measurement frameworks like multi-touch attribution (MTA).
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights and optimisations.
- Proficiency in revenue forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with proven track-record of cross-functional collaboration
Preferred:
- Experience in high paced / high performance environments (e.g., consulting, tech, strategy, ecommerce)
- Excitement for start-ups and building from the ground up
- Knowledge of media planning tools (Kantar TGI, GWI), digital ad platforms, and analytics tools.
