About Us:
Voltempo is developing our HyperCharger MCS (Megawatt Charging System) solutions for a range of commercial vehicle sectors, initially here in the UK, but progressively internationally as the transport sector electrifies. The company holds several international patents, it is engaged in the end-to-end design, supply, grid connection, site commissioning and servicing of charging solutions, targeting commercial vehicles. The business is currently scaling and is well supported by both its domestic and international shareholders and its role under the UK Government eFreight2030 programme (www.efreight2030.com), where it is leads a consortium of UK logistics fleet operators, truck OEMs and other partners, to deploy the UK’s first eHGV depot charging network.
About the Role:
Voltempo is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support our growing demand for high-impact marketing and business development activity. This new position is critical to enhancing our brand visibility, generating leads, and streamlining communications across digital platforms and events. Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager and wider Business Development team, the role will help drive consistent messaging, campaign execution, and audience engagement across multiple channels.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a passion for digital marketing, content creation, and strategic communications. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting Voltempo’s ambitious growth plans and ensuring our marketing efforts are both efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email marketing & lead generation
o Assist in planning and executing targeted email campaigns to drive lead generation.
o Support audience segmentation, scheduling, and follow-up communications.
o Track campaign performance and contribute to impact analysis.
- Website content & SEO
o Edit and update website content to ensure consistent messaging.
o Create and publish new landing pages and update News, Events, and Thought Leadership sections.
o Enhance SEO in coordination with social media to increase inbound traffic.
- Social media management
o Maintain a content calendar for LinkedIn and other key releases (e.g. from the eFreight programme or Voltempo milestones).
o Create engaging posts, reels, carousels, and short-form videos aligned with Voltempo’s brand.
o Monitor performance metrics and produce regular analytics reports.
o Support capture of research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Campaign & audience engagement
o Support prospect targeting via LinkedIn and email outreach.
o Manage CRM updates and assist with digital campaign execution.
o Identify and engage prospects not active on LinkedIn through alternative channels.
- Event coordination
o Assist in planning and promoting internal and external events.
o Support logistics, content creation, and on-the-day coordination.
o Attend events as required and support delivery/networking.
- General marketing support & administration
o Maintain marketing asset folders and brand templates.
o Format presentations and update slide decks.
o Support desk-based research for campaigns and partnerships.
o Provide administrative support for meetings and marketing activities.
o Monitor Voltempo general email inbox and actions accordingly.
o Proofread and format marketing materials for consistency and quality.
Skills and capabilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
- Experience in digital marketing, including email campaigns, social media, and SEO.
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and reporting campaign performance.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and idea generation.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to support events and administrative processes.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn marketing and audience engagement strategies.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
