Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance , with the ability to work with various materials and tools.
You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of a wide range of plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth running of the site.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all maintenance work.
- Support with the mechanical and electrical installation of new plant and equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults.
Skills
- Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- A logical thinker with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical skills and solid electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
