Working in the service department, reporting to the service manager.
- Maintain and update service records for all vehicles
- Experience using Key2 preferred but not essential.
- Check all signed off service sheets for mistakes and consult with Service Manager about errors
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained to manufactures guidelines
- Ensure all work is completed to a high acceptable standard
- Ensure that job cards raised for all work that is carried out
- Ensure all service breakdown requests are dealt with in a timely manner
- To ensure all paperwork is feed back to customers in a timely manner
- To comply and keep up to date with new legislation written within the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency Guild to Maintaining Roadworthiness
- Keep workstation area clean and tidy at all times
- All parts spend is controlled and all parts purchased are recorded against vehicles
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations and Company Policy is complied with at all times
- Comply with any reasonable request made of you, by Supervisor, Manager or Director of the Company, this may relate to tasks not normally associated with your regular workload
