The Role: Mergon Blackburn are currently hiring Machine Operators.

Hours of Work:
Continental shifts; 2 weeks days/2 weeks nights working shift pattern, 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am (5 days one week/2 days second week)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Blow and injection moulding machinery, for production of plastic products.
Quality inspections of products.
Recording of accurate data of parts, rejects weights.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adherence to health and safety regulations and practices.
To be successful in this role, you will likely have:
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing industry an advantage, not essential as full training will be given.
Familiarity with handheld PPE equipment.
Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Procedures and best practices.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as a team.
Good Housekeeping standards, ensuring your workspace is left clean and tidy at handover point.
