We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Loft Insulation Installers to join our growing team. You will be responsible for installing insulation materials in domestic loft spaces, ensuring all work meets ECO4 standards, health and safety requirements, and building regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install loft insulation materials such as mineral wool or insulation boards in line with job specifications
- Accurately cut and lay insulation around joists, cabling, and other obstructions
- Ensure insulation is installed to the correct depth and coverage for maximum energy efficiency
- Fit insulation securely between and over joists to prevent gaps or cold spots
- Install loft insulation supports, draught-proofing, and boarding as required for access
- Ensure loft hatches are insulated and draught-sealed where specified
- Follow site-specific installation plans and technical drawings
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively during installation
- Clean up installation area and safely dispose of insulation waste materials
- Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures during all installation activities
