- General Medicine
- Acute Medicine
- Respiratory Medicine
- Cardiology
- Gastroenterology
- Geriatric Medicine
- Neurology
- Rheumatology
- Endocrinology & Diabetes
- Oncology
- Haematology
- Paediatrics
- Emergency Medicine
- General Surgery
- Trauma & Orthopaedics
- ENT (Otolaryngology)
- Urology
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Anaesthetics
- Radiology
- Psychiatry (General Adult, CAMHS, Old Age, Forensic, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical care to inpatients and/or outpatients
- Participate in ward rounds, clinics, MDT meetings, and on-call rota (where applicable)
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Support junior doctors, including supervision and teaching
- Contribute to service development and clinical governance
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Comply with Trust policies, procedures, and relevant statutory obligations
Qualifications & Requirements:
Essential:
- GMC Full Registration with a license to practise
- Recognised CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) or equivalent overseas qualification
- Entry on the Specialist Register or eligibility within 6 months
- Minimum of 6-12 months experience at Consultant level in the relevant specialty
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS clearance (must be within the last 12 months or updated via the update service)
- Up-to-date mandatory training (can be arranged via agency if expired)
Desirable:
- Previous NHS experience
- MRCP/MRCS/MRCEM/FRCR/FRCA/FRCPsych (as applicable)
- ALS/BLS certification
- Evidence of participation in clinical audit, research, or QIP
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
