About the Role
Reporting to the Lockstitch Shift Leader, the role is a 'hands on' working position which includes undertaking duties relating to all aspects of Lockstitch whilst ensuring -
- The production plan is executed and work is prioritised and balanced amongst team members;
- The highest possible quality standards are maintained;
- Lockstitch steps are accurately posted and problem solving/staff training is undertaken as required on Jomar;
- Staff comply with basic work rules, standard operating procedures and risk assessments;
- Training needs are assessed and met and the skills matrix is updated regularly;
- TMS is updated on a daily basis and return to work interviews are undertaken as required;
- Process improvement ideas are actively identified and proposed to the Supervisor.
This is a full time, permanent post working Monday to Thursday 4pm-1am equating to 34 hours per week.
Rate of pay is starting from £13.64 per hour, dependant on experience.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Hands on experience working in lockstitch, or a similar department, with our luxury products
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work with and lead a team effectively
- Willingness to learn and grow within their role
- High attention to detail
- Good colour vision
- Ability to meet deadlines
