Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and trustworthy Live-In Caretaker to reside on-site and oversee the daily maintenance and management residential properties. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for tenants and vendors, while ensuring the property is clean, secure, and well-maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Support:
- Serve as an on-site liaison for tenant concerns, maintenance issues, and emergencies
- Enforce community rules and lease terms in coordination with the property manager
- Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform routine inspections and basic repairs (e.g., plumbing, painting, light carpentry)
- Coordinate with licensed professionals for specialized repairs
- Maintain common areas (e.g., hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, outdoor spaces)
- Property Security & Monitoring:
- Ensure the property is safe and secure at all times
- Monitor for suspicious activity and report incidents as needed
- Groundskeeping (if applicable):
- Maintain landscaping, remove trash, and ensure walkways are clear and safe
- Administrative Duties:
- Assist with unit showings, move-ins, and move-outs
- Submit maintenance logs and reports to the property management team
- Accept deliveries and coordinate vendor access
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in property management, facilities, or caretaking preferred
- Basic handyman skills and general knowledge of building systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies
- Must pass background check and have verifiable references
- Physically able to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if off-site tasks are required)

Pay: £25,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
