Caretaker – Full-Time (45 hours/week)
Salary: Around £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Caretaker to help keep our beautiful synagogue and grounds in top shape. This is more than just a maintenance role – it’s an opportunity to be part of something meaningful and make a real difference every day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keeping our building and outdoor spaces clean, safe, and inviting for all who visit.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the synagogue and working closely with our Senior Caretaker and Honorary Officers.
- Being a key point of contact with the Synagogue Office and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a similar caretaker or facilities role.
- A team player with a strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work.
- Someone who’s organised, adaptable, and great at communicating.
- A calm, can-do attitude, especially when working to tight deadlines.
