What You’ll Do
As a Live-in Carer, you’ll provide one-to-one support tailored to each client’s needs. Your role will include:
- Creating a warm, stable home environment that promotes emotional and physical wellbeing
- Supporting with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Preparing nutritious meals and ensuring hydration
- Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful activities
- Assisting with mobility and transfers to maintain safety
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions
- Keeping the home clean and safe with light housekeeping and laundry
- Documenting care and communicating changes with the wider team
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome carers who bring both heart and skill to their work. You’ll need:
- Previous experience in a care setting (live-in care preferred)
- Confidence supporting clients with complex needs, especially ABI, TBI, and SCI
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Excellent communication skills and a genuinely caring nature
- A valid driving licence is a plus, especially for roles involving transport
