Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Lettings Executive/Negotiator to join our team in a modern, revolutionised role. Unlike a traditional agency position, this opportunity puts you in full control of our in-house stock of over 500 properties and rapidly growing as we build and expand our portfolio ourselves.
You will be at the forefront of our lettings department, taking charge of the entire process from start to finish, shaping how the division operates, and ensuring we deliver a professional, efficient, and client-focused service. This is a chance to step into a role with real responsibility, where you’ll not only handle lettings but also help define and lead the future of our department.
Responsibilities
- Take full control and ownership of our in-house lettings portfolio of over 500 properties (and growing), ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional process from listing to move-in.
- Liaise with prospective tenants to understand their needs and match them with suitable properties within our portfolio.
- Conduct professional property viewings, providing accurate and engaging information to potential tenants.
- Negotiate tenancy terms between tenants and our in-house team to achieve favourable outcomes while upholding company standards.
- Oversee the marketing of available properties across modern channels, including online platforms and social media, to maximise exposure and minimise void periods.
- Maintain accurate records of all lettings activity, client communications, and tenancy agreements.
- Provide administrative and compliance support to ensure lettings processes are fully documented and in line with regulations.
- Stay up to date with rental market trends and legislation to provide informed advice and help shape the growth of our lettings department.
- Work proactively with the wider team to build a modern, scalable lettings division that complements our in-house property development and management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in lettings, property, or a client-facing role is preferred, with a strong understanding of the rental process.
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, able to build trust and long-term relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to use modern property software, online platforms, and digital marketing tools to drive lettings success.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties, viewings, and negotiations in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, ambitious, and passionate about the property market, with the drive to help shape and lead a modern lettings department.
