West Somerset College Sports Centre is located on the site of West Somerset College in Minehead, Somerset. The College is an inclusive educational institution for 13 to 18-year-olds, nestled on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor National Park.
Our Sports Centre offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities, supporting a varied and inclusive programme for the local community.
We are seeking enthusiastic Leisure Assistants to help deliver a friendly and positive experience for all visitors to the Sports Centre.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering excellent customer care
Ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained
Supporting the setup and takedown of equipment for activities
Assisting with general enquiries and providing a welcoming presence

What We’re Looking For:
Friendly and approachable individuals with a passion for community sport and leisure
Good communication and teamwork skills
A flexible approach to working evenings and weekends
Previous experience in a leisure or customer service role is desirable but not essential
