Job Title: Legal Secretary
Duties:
- Prepare and organised legal documents
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys
- Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, and other parties involved in legal cases
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist with case preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
- Proficient in using legal software and research tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with court filing systems and procedures
