Requirements:
- Qualifications: HNC in Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7 or SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) Level 7 or 9. Must be SSSC-registered within 3 months.
- Experience: Working with ages 0-5, with knowledge of early childhood frameworks like Realising the Ambition and Curriculum for Excellence
- Skills: Strong planning, communication, and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee individualized learning programs.
- Lead and support team members in daily routines.
- Provide a nurturing environment based on principles like GIRFEC.
- Monitor and report on children’s progress.
- Collaborate with parents and professionals to support development.
- Stay current on early childhood practices and engage in professional development.
Additional Duties:
- Follow all nursery policies and procedures.
- Attend mandatory training sessions.
- Assist with meal preparation, behavioural guidance, and hygiene routines as needed.
- Attend monthly staff meetings
