About the Team
Cleeve Court is a modern Community Resource Centre (CRC) in Bath, Somerset, offering high-quality residential and dementia care. Our team is passionate about creating a safe, respectful, and homely environment where older adults feel valued and supported.
We work together to make every day meaningful for our residentswhether it’s through a warm smile, a freshly made bed, or a clean and welcoming space. Located just a short journey from Bath City Centre, we’re easily accessible by public transport.
About the Role
As a Laundry Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our home. You’ll help ensure that residents’ clothing and linens are fresh, clean, and well cared formaking a real difference to their daily lives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a laundry service for residents and the care home, including sorting, washing, drying, and ironing.
- Operating laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and irons.
- Cleaning soft furnishings and keeping laundry areas tidy and hygienic.
- Supporting general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, and making beds.
- Keeping accurate written records as needed.
You’ll be part of a supportive team that values communication, kindness, and professionalism. Together, we build positive relationships with residents, visitors, and carers, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Is reliable, flexible, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Communicates clearly and treats others with compassion and respect.
- Is comfortable using cleaning and laundry equipment (training will be provided).
- Has a genuine interest in supporting older adults, including those living with dementia.
Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essentialwe’re more interested in your attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
