Our team is growing and an opportunity to join our busy kitchen has become available. Our ideal candidate is someone who has previous kitchen experience, ideally in a fast paced environment with an eye for detail and presentation. Someone who brings energy to the team with good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Enjoy the hospitality sector without the usual unsociable hours, team members are expected to be available on Saturdays, but enjoy the opportunity to finish work at 4pm and have every Sunday off.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen operations
- Support the service process to ensure our current standards of quality and speed are met
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Participate in catering events as required, helping to prepare and present food
- Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff while also being able to work independently and handle multiple checks at once
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is essential
- Strong communication skills with an understanding of how to maintain efficient service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.30-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
