Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Supervisor, ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with proven supervisory experience. This role requires a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Evening and weekend work is a must venue is open Friday to Sunday, with extra hours over Christmas Season.
Duties
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Skills
- Strong experience in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Previous experience in hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and management alike.
