We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at The Tapas Kitchen.
We are West Kirby’s award winning Spanish inspired Tapas Restaurant, established in 2017 and we're looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team.
About the role:
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a vital role in leading our Front of House team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy restaurant. As well as leading the team, this is a hands-on role and you will be expected to be fully involved in service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Front of House team during shifts to deliver outstanding service.
- Supporting the General Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures and cashing up using our digital POS system.
- Managing bookings, guest flow, and handling any service challenges with professionalism.
- Taking orders and serving when necessary.
- Preparing drinks and serving on the bar when necessary.
- Training, coaching, and developing team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitoring cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, ensuring all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards are consistently upheld.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Confidence with opening, closing, and cashing up using a digital POS system.
- Confident, hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of customer service and team dynamics.
- A passion for hospitality and attention to detail.
- A positive, proactive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Full availability across weekdays and weekends (currently open Wednesday-Sunday).
Job Details:
Pay - Up to £30,000 per annum plus tips (£13 per hour plus tips)
Hours - 40-45 hours per week – must include weekends
Location - West Kirby, Wirral, Merseyside
References required.
