Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and well experience Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a proven ability in carpentry and kitchen design and well experience of how to build bespoke furniture.
You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop design concepts, and oversee the implementation of projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences and requirements.
- Develop detailed design plans, including layouts, colour schemes, and material selections.
- Create 3D models and visualisations using software such as Revit, Pro100 and SketchUp.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications using CAD and AutoCAD.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Skills
- Proficiency in design software including Pro100, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong design skills in kitchen and carpentry.
- Good administrative skills in company management
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee all aspects of a project.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations relevant to interior design.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during projects.
