Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing Kitchen and Dress room spaces. Strong communication abilities, will be essential for collaborating with clients and understanding their needs. This role requires a blend of design expertise, organisational skills, and the ability to upsell products effectively.
Duties
- Consult with clients to understand their kitchen design preferences and requirements.
- Create detailed kitchen layouts using CAD software and Sketchup to visualise designs.
- Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
- Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, and appliances that align with their vision and budget.
- Maintain an organised project schedule, ensuring timely completion of designs and installations.
- Communicate effectively with contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of designs.
- Upsell additional products or services that enhance the overall kitchen experience for clients.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in kitchen design and materials to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD is essential for creating accurate designs.
- Ability to sell ideas effectively while demonstrating excellent upselling techniques.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during the design process.
- Previous experience in kitchen design or a related field is preferred.
- A passion for interior design with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
