A vacancy has arisen for a Kitchen Assistant to work in our busy commercial kitchen.
Our family run business is open between 7am – 4pm and we provide meals to the educational sector. We operate to a specific menu plan. The job will be weekdays only, no weekends!
It is key the candidate can work within a fast-paced environment and will assist our chefs with the preparation of meals, implement food safety, washing up and cleaning down, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. The role will also involve delivering meals to customers, using our company vans.
Requirements
· Experience as a Kitchen Assistant and food preparation.
· A solid understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
· Cleaning to a deep clean schedule.
· Experience of working positively as part of a team.
· The ability to work to deadlines.
. Assisting a team with washing pots, cleaning and ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
· Adaptability in the kitchen environment and helping out other members of the team.
· Delivery of meals to our customers.
· The candidate will need to have a clean UK driving licence and pass a DBS check.
Role in Chancet Wood near Meadowhead, Sheffield S8.
Approximately 20-25 hours a week.
