Role: Junior Jack/Porter

The Other House are looking for a dynamic and energetic Porter (We call this role a Junior Jack), who has a passion for delivering impeccable experiences across all areas of the House, serving a mix of residents, members and guests. This individual needs to have a creative mindset, great guest service skills and a passion for creating memorable moments through flawless attention to details and personalised resident/member service. We are looking for an individual who effectively will deliver entrepreneurial Front of House operations with a strong focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technology. For us, there is ‘inside the box’, there is ‘outside the box’ and then there are our OtherHouseMates – passionate, self-driven and completely comfortable with pushing the boundaries.

About you

  • Guest experience in a porter or front of house role
  • Can multi task, managing multiple guest requests and transporting several items simultaneously
  • Creative spark that will leave a lasting impression
  • The flair for intuitive service
  • Excellent command of English – both verbal and written
  • Second language (preferred but not essential)
  • Positive, engaging personality
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong task and time management abilities
  • The right to work in UK
