Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Experienced Conveyancing Assistant or Junior Fee Earner to join our dynamic team, who is looking for the next step in their Career .. This position is office based, either full time or part time. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our conveyancing department by assisting with various Conveyancing tasks related to property transactions. You would also be looking to take on your own small caseload, signed off by the Senior Fee Earner. This position is perfect for individuals looking to develop their career in the legal field, particularly in property law.
Duties
- Deal with the preparation and submission of legal documents related to property transactions.
- Maintain accurate and organised files for each case, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other third parties to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
- Conduct property searches and obtain relevant information from local authorities.
- Dealing with Exchanges and Completions
- Prepare correspondence and reports as required.
- Manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely completion of transactions.
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a legal or conveyancing environment is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A genuine interest in property law and a desire to learn more about the conveyancing process.
