Role Description
Position: Joiner/Multi
Location: Merseyside and Manchester (base in Widnes)
Type of Work: Social housing properties (response and voids maintenance)
The successful candidate will:
- Perform joinery work to properties, maintaining a high standard with minimal supervision.
- Tackle a range of property maintenance tasks, utilizing multi-skilled expertise to deliver a "First Time Fix" approach.
- Complete jobs within budget and time constraints while adhering to company health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs, installations, and maintenance related to joinery (doors, windows, frames, etc.).
- Perform ancillary tasks in property maintenance (basic plumbing, electrical work, tiling, plastering, decorating).
- Provide efficient, high-quality service to social housing properties.
- Stay up to date with technical and legal requirements relevant to their skill areas.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualifications: NVQ or equivalent in joinery or a related trade.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in a similar role, preferably in social housing repairs and maintenance.
- Skills: Ability to perform multi-trade tasks to complete jobs comprehensively.
- Additional Requirements: A valid driving license to operate within the North West area.
