Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Communications and Engagement Officer to join our HR team. This role is pivotal in enhancing employee engagement and fostering a transparent communication culture within the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication strategies that align with our corporate objectives, ensuring that all employees are informed, motivated, and engaged.
Duties
- Shine a spotlight on internal stories, celebrating and building our culture through recognition
- Curate a bimonthly newsletter
- Own the social communication channel, ensuring there is regular delivery
- Communicate adhoc announcements
- Collaborate with cross function teams to streamline communication and simplify the end user experience
- Organise and facilitate internal events that promote team building and enhance company culture.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to ensure clear communication of policies, changes, and updates.
- Support public relations efforts by crafting messages that align with the company's brand voice.
- Support the HR lead with seamless and systematic onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Build on our Employer Value Proposition and social media presence
- Ensure information is accessible in a variety of formats to Partners across our estate
Qualifications
- Proven experience in internal communications or public relations is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to curate personable and meaningful connection points
The Details
This role will be based in our Central Support Office in Paisley. We're looking for someone to join for around 24 hours, but we're flexible in how this would look for the right candidate. All roles are fully in person but it could be full days or part days.
