Trusted by thousands of HR and Payroll professionals across virtually every business sector, our systems liberate users from everyday admin and makes it easier for companies to connect, engage, manage, compensate, develop and retain their people wherever they are.
With a history of double-digit revenue growth every year, we have ambitious plans to achieve more! Our aim today, as it always has been, is to provide forward-thinking HR and Payroll solutions backed by amazing support and a collaborative culture that helps our people and business thrive. As a Team Leader in the Implementation function, you'll have a direct impact not just on client success, but also on the development and wellbeing of your team. You'll be joining a friendly, collaborative environment where initiative is encouraged, and people are trusted to do their best work.
About the Role
As an Implementation Team Leader at Cezanne HR, you'll play a dual role: part hands-on Implementation Consultant, part team lead and coordinator. You'll support clients directly through their implementation journey while also guiding a small team (or "pod") of Implementation Consultants to deliver successful, timely, and consistent project outcomes.
You'll oversee delivery quality, manage workloads across your pod, and be a key point of contact for operational planning within the Implementation Team. As a line manager, you'll also play an important pastoral role, mentoring team members, supporting their development, and helping shape the future of the Implementation function as we continue to grow.
This is a remote-first role, ideal for someone who combines strong delivery skills with natural leadership, enjoys empowering others to do their best work, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Client Implementation Work: Take on a personal portfolio of implementations, providing system setup, data configuration, training delivery, and client support- mirroring the responsibilities of an Implementation Consultant and maintaining direct insight into our client journey.- Team Coordination & Workflow Management: Coordinate task assignments and resource allocation within your pod, ensuring an even workload and that client timelines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Performance Monitoring & Delivery Oversight: Track progress across multiple concurrent implementation projects. Support your team in removing blockers, escalating risks early, and ensuring all projects stay on course.
- Line Management & Team Development: Provide one-to-one support for team members, offering regular check-ins, feedback, and pastoral care. Work with each team member to support their growth and development, celebrating strengths and identifying areas for improvement.
- Process Improvement & Collaboration: Contribute to refining and evolving our internal processes, working closely with fellow team leaders and the Head of Implementation to ensure we're always improving how we deliver value to clients.
Key Skills & Attributes
Strong Communication & Leadership: You're confident communicating with a variety of stakeholders, from clients to colleagues. You foster trust, motivate others, and can provide clear direction in both 1:1 and group settings.- Collaborative but Decisive: You seek input from your team and peers, but you're also comfortable making clear decisions when needed to move things forward.
- Supportive & People-Focused: You care about the people you lead. You know how to balance delivery expectations with empathy, and you're committed to helping others grow in a positive and psychologically safe environment.
- Project Management & Accountability: You're confident managing multiple workstreams and know how to keep projects on track. You set clear expectations, hold yourself and others accountable to timelines, and keep a steady hand even when things get busy or complex.
- Delivery-Focused & Organised: With multiple projects in motion, you can zoom out to see the bigger picture while keeping a close eye on the details. You're excellent at prioritising, context switching, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Technically Confident: You're comfortable exploring new software and helping others get to grips with it. You can support your team in troubleshooting and have a keen interest in staying up to date with new functionality and best practices.
